The Head of the Department and the General Manager are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the department.
The most important body for discussions and decisions is the Department Assembly, which meets two to three times per semester. A distribution key ensures that all parties are represented.
The permanent and temporary committees prepare business and action items for the meeting. Informal agreement and coordination takes place between the Chairs within each field.
The Central Services group provides all services for employees and students. They are also responsible for coordinating committees and organizing key procedures in cooperation with Central Services on University level and the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
