Nikolas Hächler, PD Dr.

Kurzlebenslauf

Nikolas Hächler studierte Geschichte, Philosophie und Politikwissenschaften an der Universität Zürich, wo er 2012 seinen Masterabschluss erwarb und nach Forschungsaufenthalten in München und Oxford 2017 promoviert wurde. Von 2013 bis 2019 war er Assistent am Historischen Seminar der Universität Zürich und von 2019 bis 2022 Gastwissenschaftler an den Universitäten Wien, Paris, München und Princeton mit Unterstützung des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds. Von 2022 bis 2025 wirkte er im ERC-Projekt «The Just City» am Historischen Seminar der Universität Zürich mit. Die Habilitation fand 2024 an der Philosophischen Fakultät der Universität Zürich statt. Es folgten Lehrstuhlvertretungen an den Universitäten Bern und Würzburg 2025 und 2026. Im Herbstsemester 2026 vertritt er Prof. Dr. Anne Kolb in derLehre am Historischen Seminar der Universität Zürich.
